Psalm 116:7 (TPT) Now I can say to myself and to all, “Relax and rest, be confident and serene, for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.” Friday is here…..another weekend ahead! I hope you are as ready for some R & R (Rest & Relaxation) as I am……sometimes R & R includes participating in enjoyable functions (which can and does include Worship Gatherings); R & R does not ‘just’ mean sitting and/or lying around….(it can); yet, it includes all types of activities that give us a sense of ‘Rest’ for the soul…..a sense of ‘Relaxation’ for the mind and spirit…..as we read today’s scripture together may we hear it’s wonderful message…..”Now I can say to myself and to all, ‘Relax and rest, be confident and serene,”….. Our Lord encourages us to ‘Relax and Rest’……to ‘BE’ confident in our walk with Him and to find serenity in Christ……read on….”for the Lord rewards those who simply trust him.” He rewards us with ‘confidence and serenity’ as well as with ‘rest and relaxation’……Trust Him…..’Simply Trust’…..(Take A Moment To Meditate…. Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in…..(Rest and Relax)…..Breathe out…….(‘BE’ Confident)…..Breathe in……(Simply Trust)…..Breathe out……(Rest and Relax)……Friday here we are…..Trusting in Christ….Resting and Relaxing…..Breathe in…..Breathe out….. Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘Simply Trust’…..help us walk in ‘Serenity’…..May we ‘Rest and Relax’……Bless this day…..protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus …..all together…..say…..Amen,”
