LMA Seven Principles LMA Principle #2 Spot the BIG LIE in Temptation. Temptation is dynamic, and it has magnetic power. We become convinced by our fleshly desires that a “drink,” a “pill,” an extra piece of “cake,” that “relationship,” is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to us. Our “flesh” says it will satisfy and soothe us. God says, STOP! Temptation promises much but delivers little! It is the “BIG LIE.” Hebrews 2:18 “He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life.” James 1:13 “When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation.” Turn away from the ‘flesh’ and turn to God…….the answer is always found in God (Father-Son- Spirit); ‘Spot the Lie’ in Temptation! 1 John 2:21 (TPT) So I’m writing to you not because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and no lie belongs to the truth. You know the ‘truth’…..do not turn from God’s truth……live it out in your life……. Enough said…..
