LMA Seven Principles LMA Principle #1 Look for the Hidden Opportunities in Temptation. Every temptation has built within it a means of escape. The Way of Escape. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.”
Every temptation has a way of escape…..nothing can win out against the indwelling Spirit of God (that resides in you and me)…..don’t focus on the temptation…..focus on the way of escape.
1 Timothy 6:20 (TPT) So, my son Timothy, don’t forget all that has been deposited within you. Escape from the empty echoes of men and the perversion of twisted reasoning. Do not fall prey to the perversion of men’s twisted reasoning……remember the teachings of Jesus that are within in you……(Paul the Apostle gave this wise counsel to his young mentor Timothy); take this to heart in your own life…. Enough said…..
