The Twelve Steps of LMA OUR ACTION STEPS LMA Step #9 We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure (physically, emotionally, or spiritually) them or others. DISCIPLINE At this phase in our Recovery/Spiritual Journey; we begin the very rewarding (yet sometime difficult process) of making ‘direct amends’ to people that we have harmed……yet, may we seek guidance and counsel with this Step…..remembering that we should never make amends at the expense of causing further harm to these people or ‘others’……use spiritual wisdom……and allow those that have made this journey before you to teach you and to assist you……. Philippians 2:21 (TPT) For it seems as though everyone else is busy seeking what is best for themselves instead of the things that are most important to our Lord Jesus Christ. ‘BE’ other-centered not self-centered……….this Step is all about ‘what is best for others’……. Enough said…..
