LMA Seven Principles LMA Principle #2 Spot the BIG LIE in Temptation. Temptation is dynamic, and it has magnetic power. We become convinced by our fleshly desires that a “drink,” a “pill,” an extra piece of “cake,” that “relationship,” is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to us. Our “flesh” says it will satisfy and soothe us. God says, STOP! Temptation promises much but delivers little! It is the “BIG LIE.” Hebrews 2:18 “He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life.” James 1:13 “When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation.” Temptations are not of God…..so by nature they are ‘lies’…..they offer what they cannot provide! They cater to our flesh……which leads to death……God (Father-Son-Spirit) always lead to life…..’ALWAYS’……. Galatians 5:24 (TPT) Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus Christ have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah. We have been crucified with Christ….resurrected with Him and are in Him now and He is in us ……….He lives and we live…….temptations cannot win against us….. Enough said…..
